About the Event
Jeri Wachter is a producer, consultant and public speaker, creating documentaries and events with a focus on socioeconomic inequities, environmental and public health issues. Recent work includes "Rural Matters; Poverty in the Other America" a feature documentary “work in progress" on the crisis of poverty in rural communities; and "Something in the Water" a documentary about America before and after the 2020 Presidential election. Previously, she co-founded William Andrew Publishing (an independent applied science publisher of leading works on topics in ecology, nanotechnologies and more). An advocate for equity and social justice, she’s served as a volunteer EMT, a SSP Development and Fellowship committee(s) member, and presently has the honor to serve on the AGU Publications Committee. She's also a founder of the Workplace Equity Project.
